Andhra Pradesh, rainfall activity is likely to intensify as the possibility of a low-pressure area over Bay of Bengal.

As per the
IMD, the maximum temperatures slightly dropped in parts of the state on Sunday, and a few parts of the Alluri Sitharama Raju district experienced moderate rainfall on Sunday evening.
Kurnool emerged as the hottest location in the state on Sunday, recording a maximum temperature of 40.5°C. This was closely followed by Nandyal at 40°C, Kadapa 39.8°C, Jangamaheswarapuram at 39.1°C, Nandigama 38.6°C, Amaravati 38.5°C, Anantapur 38.4°C.
People in a few parts of the state experienced discomfort due to humid weather conditions. The prevailing weather conditions led to sultry conditions in some coastal districts, with residents struggling to cope with humidity.
